Tasting Menu – Thanks to everyone!

First of all I’d just like to say thanks to everyone for coming!  It seems like everyone enjoyed eating it as much as I enjoyed making it – that makes it all worthwhile.  Special thanks to Martin and Hilda for hosting, helping with the cooking, setting out a beautiful table and washing up behind me as I proceeded to turn their kitchen upside down!  You made something special, extra special.  Thanks also to my wife Phoebe for putting up with me regularly destroying our kitchen for the past week or so, doing all the cooking so I could focus on this one dinner and also for helping out with everything on the night, packing, unpacking, cleaning, cooking… you get the idea.

I’ve already had lots of feedback, pictures and comments and I look forward to more in the coming days.  I will also be posting up all the pictures we have from the night and covering all the dishes I did on here as recipes – so if you want to have a go at recreating some of them or even improving on them, you can!

That’s all for now, I’m too tired and sore to make this post any longer (I feel like I’ve gone through a several hour session in the gym).
